Hello! I'm The Red Lioness!
The Red Lioness is more than just a stage name; it is the essence of my passionate soul that wanders through the depths of nature and the heights of music. Fascinated by the world around me from an early age, I decided to make science my profession and my great love of nature the focus of my life.
As a biologist, I have worked with the majestic great apes and spent many hours in the oceans of Hawaii, sharing the unique experience of swimming side by side with dolphins, whales and manta rays. These encounters with nature have deeply influenced my music and flow into every note I play and every line I sing.
At home in Heidelberg, I share my life with two lively chinchillas who are just as adventurous as I am. But when I'm not pampering my furry friends, I devote myself to my greatest passion: music.
I write my own songs, which often reflect my deepest experiences and strokes of fate, and in doing so I not only express my own soul, but also create a connection with those who feel the same.
In addition to singing and songwriting, I am learning guitar and am inspired by stories in books and on my travels - the words and impressions in them often spark new musical ideas and melodies in me.
Musically, I am versatile and find inspiration in many genres. I love the depth of classical music, the raw energy of rock, hard rock and metal, and the lightness of pop and folk. Singer-songwriter pieces also touch me deeply because they often tell the stories that I want to share with my music.
For me, every day is an opportunity to see the good and discover miracles. My songs reflect this belief and express my belief that even in the most difficult times, a spark of light shines. I believe in the miraculous in everyday life, in the power of friendship, and that we all have the power to make the world a better place - one song, one story, one heartbeat at a time.
